Cody Gillen

Cody grew up in New York City surrounded by skyscrapers but it was his neighborhood playground that had the largest impact. The park instilled a sense of adventure and an appreciation of play as a vehicle for physical, social and intellectual development. This led Cody to eventually work at a children’s museum, where he tested new exhibits through play-based educational activities. He aspires to explore how intentional design can promote health, happiness and growth and believes this begins in the home.

The son of a craftsman and an artist, Cody looks forward to bringing his creativity and love of building to the 4 Forty Four team.
When he’s not at work, Cody likes drawing, podcasting, Tarheel basketball and hanging out with his dogs.
