Mark Stocking

Mark is originally from Michigan, where he received an Electronic Engineer Degree at National Institute of Technology. He experienced a long career in field servicing medical equipment and then went on to invent, patent, market, construct, and sell a medical patient I.D. device. During this time, Mark also built a handful of homes for himself and others. In 2012 Mark moved to Arizona after his ambitious son was accepted into the United States Naval Academy. While in Arizona, Mark did what he loved most and was involved in renovations and additions. There, Mark found his wife-to-be, Karen, who was also from Michigan. Karen visited Blowing Rock while on a business trip, and afterwards, in 2020, Mark found himself in a moving van headed east. They both love Boone & Blowing Rock and believe there’s no better place on earth to live. After settling here, Mark became an electrician, then a construction foreman, which led him to find 4 Forty Four doing what he likes the most - renovations and additions.

Mark enjoys being involved in the local church community, where he and his wife work with children. In his free time, he goes fishing and hiking in the mountains.
