ASU participates in the Solar Decathlon Project and they are among the twenty teams that will participate in this international building design competition that has been put together by the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon. This is a 21-day event that will center on building a self-sufficient Solar Homestead.
Here in the High Country we can all identify with that pioneering spirit that involves self-sufficiency and self-reliance. So when we see a project such as this one, we get very excited about all the possibilities available for building an energy efficient home that can also become an integral part of our environment.
