ANNIE'S BARN RENOVATION

This barn renovation is a true blend of past and present, where history was honored and modern living thoughtfully introduced. Reclaimed wood from the original barn was carefully salvaged and reused throughout the exterior and interior, preserving the soul of the structure while giving it new life.

Every board tells a story - from the reclaimed log beams spanning the ceilings of the primary and guest bedrooms, to the accent wall on the stair landing. By incorporating those original materials into the design, the character of the old building remains front and center, while modern craftsmanship ensures comfort, durability, and longevity; no small feat in the ever-changing weather of the High Country.

This project reflects what’s possible when craftsmanship, vision, and respect for original materials come together; creating a space that feels timeless, functional, and built to last. Truly, a barn reimagined.

Every piece of the original barn was delicately taken from the structure and carefully inventoried, piece by piece, for reuse in the finished build. This was very important to the final construction of Annie's Barn to preserve the legacy of the original build.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL:

"4 Forty Four took my wife's dream of taking something old and making it new. They were able to keep the character of the old building while adding the modern conveniences that make an old building livable. My concern was to make the building as maintenance free as possible - not an easy task when dealing with the weather extremes we have in the high country. Their crew accomplished it. 4 Forty Four should be your choice if you are remodeling or building - their attention to detail is second to none."
