Sunflower Cottage
More than a home away from home, this property is a true piece of Blowing Rock, North Carolina history.
Once a working horse barn owned by Frank Isenhour (of the Eisenhower family), it later became a rental home where generations of the Isenhour family lived, worked, and created memories.
After purchasing this home in the early 2000's, the new owners discovered an attic full of photos, letters, and belongings, all reminders of the lives shaped within these walls. Many of these pieces have now been thoughtfully preserved and displayed.
It was an honor to be trusted with restoring a space that carries so much story and heritage. Breathing new life into a home like this is a privilege, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to help it continue its legacy.
