This renovation was guided by a deep respect for the home’s original character, paired with a desire to create a space that feels personal, functional, and finished. Preserving the charm of the 1900s farmhouse was essential, while thoughtful updates allowed the home to better support modern living.
The primary suite design focused on creating a bedroom that feels spacious, clean, and complete - where details matter. Expanded closet space provides room for both clients, while improved lighting, including recessed fixtures and additional windows, brings a brighter, more open feel to the space.
The once-narrow passage to the bathroom was transformed into a generous, well-appointed retreat. The new primary bathroom features dual sinks, abundant storage, a large shower, and a relaxing soaking tub, balancing comfort and practicality without sacrificing the farmhouse’s timeless appeal.
The kitchen renovation served as the heart of the project. The design focused on unlocking the potential of an already well-sized space. Aging cabinetry, worn countertops and backsplash, and outdated appliances were replaced with thoughtful updates that improved functionality and flow. The focal point of the kitchen is the large, antique style island, built with storage in mind and a place for family and friends to gather. The result is a refreshed kitchen made for everyday use that feels both inviting and timeless.
Every element of this renovation reflects a careful blend of old and new; honoring the past, while creating a home that feels thoughtfully designed for the present.
