Linville Legacy
After having the privilege of coming to Linville for 50 years, our client knew that building their legacy home in Linville would be special to their family. The lot they selected had privacy for the long-term and some spectacular views - the perfect setting for family gatherings.
During consultation with our client, it was of the utmost importance to them that their home be as timeless as possible and look as if it has been there forever. To achieve the aesthetic of “Old Linville,” poplar bark, stone, and linen color window and door cladding were prominent features of the home. Subdued gray paint colors that blend harmoniously with the bark and stone gave the home a finished, polished look.
With our clients' love for entertaining family, friends, and guests, the desire to make the interior of the home comfortable, fun and welcoming was achieved by making it feel as though this is their primary home, and not just a vacation house. The outdoor living space had to be just as functional as the indoors, so our team created a custom table that ensures enough space for all of their family to sit, relax, and share meals, all while soaking in our mountain climate and gorgeous views. Another favorite spot for our clients is their “wee deck” - a smaller, private space located just off the primary bedroom with incredible views of Grandmother Mountain.
With tradition and family at the core of our clients’ hearts, their legacy home in Linville is complete. A home that will surely be enjoyed for decades to come as they continue to welcome the next generation of their family.
